2018 WSOP Main Event Day 1-42018 WSOP Main Event Day 1-4 has been completed and we’re almost halfway through the biggest event on the poker calendar.

There are 310 players remaining of the 7,874 players that registered for the 2018 World Series of Poker Main Event.

The prize pool adds up to a whooping $74,015,600 for the $10,000 buy-in event which is still underway at the Rio Casino in Las Vegas.

The remaining 310 players will return for Day 5 of the Main Event on July 5 to play 5-6 levels starting from 11am.

2018 WSOP Main Event Day 1-4 – Updates

Day 1-4 of the 2018 WSOP Main Event have been completed with just 310 players remaining in the event. See the highlights below for the top 3 players, eliminations and survivors of each day in the Main Event.

2018 WSOP Main Event Day 1a

2018 WSOP Main Event Day 1a saw 925 players register for the first starting flight of the Main Event.

Top 3 players: Timothy Lau, Truyen Nguyen & Chris Fraser
Eliminations: Scott Blumstein, Brian Rast, Felipe Ramos & Jonathan Little
Survivors: Joe Hachem, Scotty Nguyen, Joe McKeehen and Erik Seidel.

2018 WSOP Main Event Day 1b

There were 2,378 players that registered for the 2018 WSOP Main Event Day 1b with 1,794 players returning to play Day 2.

Top 3 players: Samuel Bernabeu, Barbara Rogers, Daniel Colpoys
Eliminations: Noah Schwartz, Kenny Hallaert, Jamie Gold, Greg Raymer, Doug Polk & Jason Somerville.

2018 WSOP Main Event Day 1c

Day 1c saw the biggest starting flight in WSOP history with 4,571 players registered to play, by the end of the day 3,480 players survived to return for Day 2.

2018 WSOP Main Event Day 2ab saw combined playing field for Day 1a and b players adding up to 2,460 players with 1,131 players making it through to Day 3.

Top 3 players: Shawn Daniels, Eric Liebeler, Samuel Bernabeu
Eliminations: Antoine Saout, Joe Hachem, Ryan Riess, Erik Seidel
Survivors: Chris Ferguson, Johnny Chan, Scotty Nguyen and Greg Merson.

Day 2c had 3,480 players starting out from the Day 1c field, at the end of the day there were 1,655 players advancing to Day 3.

Day 3 started with the 2,786 surviving players for the event combined into one field, they played down to the money position with 1,182 players remaining.

Day 4 and all 1,182 players are in the money postions, the day concluded with just 310 players returning for Day 5.
