2018 wsop main event day 52018 WSOP Main Event Day 5 – the day started with 310 players battling it out for the highest paying positions with the minimum payout starting at $37,705.

Play was stopped for the day by the tournament director due to the lights going off in the Amazon room right at the end of the day.

There are just 109 players who will return for day six including notable players Shaun Deeb and Joe Cada.

Michael Dyer will start day six as the chipleader with over 12 million chips in his stack.

2018 WSOP Main Event Day 5 came to an end earlier than expected when the lights went out in the Amazon room. The lights stayed out even after a ten minute break and the tournament director had to make the call and end the day. The lights eventually came back on but due to the disruption the decision was made to call it a day.
