FullTilt Break

Players used whom frequently play at Full Tilt Poker will at first look be surprised and ask the question “Why are we going on break now?” the reason for these newly introduced breaks is simply to allow players who play multi-table tournaments to get a break and grab their coffee or use the bathroom. I have to admit I was one of those who got surprised by the new breaks that are now synchronized across all tourneys as we had only been playing about 5 minutes before going into a break, at first I thought it was a game glitch but later realized that thing had been altered from the usual poker tournament breaks, the idea of a synchronized break is rather novel and I like the concept.

How Synchronized Breaks Work at Full Tilt Poker

Synchronized breaks at FullTilt Poker are schedules at exactly 55 minutes past each hour and last for 5 minutes. As an example, if a Tournament begins at 14:15 ET, the tournament clock will stop at 14:55 ET and all hands currently being played will be completed before the break starts.  The tournament will once again resume in five minutes after all tables have completed their hands.

Synchronized Breaks exceptions:

  • First blind level tournaments for regular tournaments and first two blind levels for Turbo Tournaments.
  • Running Tournaments that are still open for late registration.
  • Sit & Go Tournaments with less than 30 entrants.

Rebuy/Add-on tournaments amendments:

  • During non-turbo rebuy + add-on tournaments a 2 minute break when the rebuy period has ended will allow for any add-ons.
  • For turbo rebuy + add-on tournaments a 1 minute break after the rebuy period has ended will allow for add-ons.
  • For rebuy tournaments with no add on’s a 30 second break at the end of the rebuy period will allow for final rebuys.

Full Tilt Poker New Website

The new FullTilt Poker website looks very slick and is definitely an improvement on the old site. The website header changes each time you visit the site with a different Full Tilt Poker pro to welcome you each time.
