jc tran 888 pokerJC Tran announced via twitter that he is no longer a member of Team 888 Poker, his 12 month contract with 888poker has come to an end.

888poker signed JC Tran shortly after making the final table of the 2013 WSOP Main Event as the November Nine Chipleader.

The decision was probably mutual beneficial as J.C. Tran is not able to represent 888poker online as poker pro with online poker not legally available in Sacramento, California.

This year 888poker have sponsored Bruno Foster as their November Nine representative at the 2014 WSOP Main Event Final Table. If Foster wins the Main Event it will be the first time a Brazilian player has captured the title.

JC Tran No Longer Team 888 Poker

JC Tran will longer represent the site as along 888Poker Ambassadors which includes: Bruno Foster Politano, Sofia Lövgren, Xuan Liu and team captain Shane Warne.

Online poker is expected to be legalized in California in 2015, JC Tran would be a good representative for one of the poker sites who acquire a license in his state.

The poker pro is still listed on the 888poker website as an ambassador but will be removed shortly. At least he left the brand on good terms and enjoyed his stay with 888poker after updating his status on Twitter.

Earlier this year Luis Suarez joined 888poker and was expected to represent the online gaming brands as a global ambassador and some presence in Brazil during the Soccer World Cup.

Luis Suarez removed from 888 Poker instantly after biting for biting Giorgio Chiellini during the 2014 World Cup in the Uruguay verse Italy match on 24th June.

All affiliations with the football star were taken down from the website and 888poker released the following statement:

Following recent allegations made against Luis Suárez, we are reviewing our relationship with him. We will not tolerate unsporting behavior.

888 also offers sports betting so the Suarez incident was damaging to their online reputation.
