Knocking out Leo Margets will be no easy task she has become a poker professional in only 3 years and already earned a lot of respect in the poker scene recently. Leo Margets is a 888.com poker marketing manager who would normally promote the 888.com pro players in tournaments now she has her own bounty tournament.

“I’ve been helping make 888.com the place for people to play poker at for over two years now, and although I’ve won a few minor tournaments this is really is a big break through for me!

Leo Margets was the last woman to be knocked out of the WSOP 2009 Main Event. She was eliminated by South African Warren Zackey and finished in 27th, not bad for a new player with only have three years worth of poker playing. Leo Margets earned more than $350,000 in this years Main event. She lasted longer than most poker pros and finished in a higher position than Phil Hellmuth, Scotty Nguyen and WSOP 2008 Main Event winner Peter Eastgate.

Leo Margets comments “I returned from playing in the WSOP woman’s event in Vegas a few weeks ago and just had a feeling that if I could go back for the main event I would do well. It was just a hunch, but it’s proved right! I approached 888.com who had sponsored me in the woman’s event, and asked if they would sponsor me through the main WSOP tournament. Very kindly, they agreed and I’m glad I’ve repaid their trust by getting this far!”

“You have to make the right moves, increase the pace, and go with the leaders at the right time. If the pace increases now I can’t be left behind otherwise I won’t make the final table. But I’m proud to be the final woman left in the competition.”
