The tournament schedule for this year has an extra eight new events added which includes: The Marathon, The Giant and Tag Team High Roller

Popular events which are back on the 2017 WSOP schedule include: Colossus III, Millionaire Maker, Monster Stack and Crazy Eights.

The 48th edition of the annual World Series of Poker is guaranteed to be filled with action with more bracelets than any other year in the history of the WSOP.

WSOP 2017 Schedule – Tournaments & New Events

The biggest live poker tournament series in the World returns to Rio Casino in Las Vegas from May 30 – July 17.

$10,000 Tag Team Event – High Roller

A High Roller version of last years popular Tag Team event has been added. The 2-4 player team poker tournament is the opening event of the series and features a buy-in of $10,000.

$333 WSOP.com Online Event

The online event which guarantees $333,333 on wsop.com, the tournament has a buy-in of $333 with unlimited re-entries.

WSOP The Giant

An interesting tournament which has five starting flights that all play down to the money on Day 1. All surviving players from Day 1 tournaments will receive an equal payout of the lowest paid position. The rest of the money in the prize pool and players chips will be carried over to Day 2 of the event.

The tournament runs over a five week period with Day 1 starting flights every Friday night between 9 June – 7 July. All remaining players from Day 1s will return for Day 2 on 8 July.

There are unlimited re-entries for all Day 1s of the tournament and players may enter as many Day 1 events as they like, however players may only bring their biggest stack earned from a Day 1 event to play the Day 2.

WSOP The Marathon

New to the schedule is the WSOP The Marathon tournament, an epic five day battle with a $2,620 buy-in and a starting stack of 26,200 chips and blinds levels changing every 100 minutes.

$1,000 Super Turbo Bounty

An exciting bounty event with a buy-in of $1000, get $300 for every player you eliminate in the event. The NL Holdem super turbo tournament features 20 minute blind levels and is a one day event.

$10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Split 8 or Better

Adding variety to the series with a new three day event is the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Split 8 or Better tournament.

$2,500 Mixed Big Bet Event

Something for players that enjoy mixing up their poker games the three day $2,500 Mixed Big Bet Event features NL Holdem, PLO, Five Card Draw, Big O, PLO Hi/Lo and 2-7 Pot-Limit Triple Draw.

$3,333 High Roller WSOP.com Online Event

Play the $3,333 High Roller event online at wsop.com, it’s a one-day NL Holdem tournament with unlimited re-entries and a online bracelet up for grabs.

WSOP Colossus III

One of the most popular events is back, get ready for the WSOP Colossus III tournament with a bigger guaranteed prize pool than every before at $8 million.

The Colossus III takes place on the first weekend of the series with starting flights running from June 2-4.
