It turns out that Fulltilt were busy preparing for the launch which is expect to be in March 2015 and a member of the staff must have accidentally published the details live a few months too soon. We can only imagine the excitement of the NJ players who were welcomed with this message only to find out that the Full tilt Poker App was not available to download.

The poker application displayed the following message in error:

We are pleased to announce that we have a new version of our game software fully licensed by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, offering real-money gameplay on a fully regulated online gaming platform.

To begin playing on the Full Tilt Poker Mobile New Jersey game software, download the software using the download button below, then log in with your current Full tilt account details and follow the instructions on screen.

Once you have done so, your Play Money chip balance will be transferred to your New Jersey Full Tilt account. Transferring your account assets to the New Jersey Full tilt game software will not affect your eligibility to join our player rewards program.

Please note you can only play real-money games while you are physically located within the state of New Jersey. You must confirm you are at least 21 years of age and provide your Social Security Number to successfully validate your Full Tilt Poker Mobile New Jersey account for real-money gameplay.

While this gives us some insight to what is required for NJ players in the next few months unfortunately players will have to wait for the official launch of Full Tilt Poker Mobile New Jersey.

Full Tilt is one of the companies along with PokerStars that was acquired by Amaya Gaming in 2014, what the message does is give some hope to players based in New Jersey that the development teams are currently working on the launch.

Currently Fulltilt and PokerStars are not listed on the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement approved poker sites so no license has been issued at this stage as it is still under review. The PokerStars NJ license application was denied in 2013 under the previous ownership of the Isai Scheinberg.

While Party Poker NJ, 888 Poker NJ and WSOP NJ continue to dominate the regulated poker industry in New Jersey.
