The Main Event attracted a playing field of 6,352 players, the total prize pool amounted to more than $59 million dollars with a first place prize of $8,3 million.

The tournament will run until 15 July 2013, and continue playing until only 9 players remain. The November Nine will return for the WSOP 2013 Main Event final table on 4-5 November.

Day 3 started with a field of 1,753 players made up from the surviving players of Day 2A, 2B and 2C combined. Phil Ivey fell victim to the rail in a rather unfortunate trips verse trips on the flop.

Survived: Doyle Brunson, Luke Schwartz, Greg Merson, Bertrand Grospelllier, Greg Mueller, Marvin Rettenmaier, Michael Mizrachi, Matt Affleck, Jake Cody, Isaac Haxton, Allen Cunningham, JC Tran, Carlos Mortensen, and Matt Stout.

There are 666 players going into Day 4 but only 648 players will cash in the 2013 WSOP Main Event. Doyle Brunson made the money and was eliminated in 406th place

282 players returned for the 5th day of the World Series of Poker Main Event. Only 68 players survived the day among the casualties was Annette Obrestad who finished in 89th and Marvin Rettenmaier in 99th.

WSOP 2013 Main Event Day 6

The 68 players left in the Main Event returned for their 6th day where played continued until only 27 players remain, just three tables left which will play down to the November Nine on Day 7. Jackie Glazier was the last woman standing and was eliminated in 31st place.

WSOP 2013 Main Event Schedule

The Main Event will play down to the final table between 6-15 July 2013, the November Nine will return for the final table on 4-5 November.

  • Main Event Day 1A, 1B, and 1C all have separate starting days – 6-8 July
  • Day 1A, 1B, and 1C ends at level 5 blinds
  • Day 2A features players from 1A and ends after 5 blinds levels – 9 July
  • Day 2B features players from 1B and ends after 5 blinds levels – 9 July
  • Day 2C features players from 1C and ends after 5 blinds levels – 10 July
  • Day 3 featuring all players combined from 2A, 2B and 2C and ends after 5 blinds levels – 11 July
  • Day 4 ends after 5 blinds levels – 12 July
  • Day 5 ends after 5 blinds levels – 13 July
  • Day 6 ends after 5 blinds levels – 14 July
  • Day 7 ends when only 9 players remain – 15 July

The WSOP 2013 Main Event final table will resume with the November Nine players returning on the 4-5 November 2013.
