Popular online poker giant PokerStars have upped the ante by increasing the guaranteed prize pools on most of their guaranteed tournaments. PokerStars is now host to 483 guaranteed prize pool tournaments each week a rather large increase from the previously held 199 just last week, the overall guaranteed prize pool difference is from $7,5 million to over $13 million in guaranteed Tourneys.
This Sunday the PokerStars Sunday Million will boost a $1,5 million guaranteed prize pool which is set to remain the standard Sunday prize pool from then onwards.
However not only the Sunday Million getting a massive boost, starting on Sunday even the PokerStars Sunday Warm Up will see it’s $500,000 guarantee increased to an impressive $750,000. Super Tuesday is set to change from a $250K guarantee to a $300K guarantee event.
PokerStars will also have an additional weekly $530 No Limit Hold’em tournament to be held on Sundays with a $250K guarantee, at the end of each month, this tournament will have a $1,050 buy in.
